Rochester is situated a two and a half .hours drive north from Melbourne. A farming (dairying, vineyards, cropping) and commercial district Rochester has century old buildings and up to date sporting and education facilities. Famous as the birthplace of Sir Hubert Opperman his statue and museum greet you at the start of the retail precinct, where you will find a variety of shops, cafes and craft. With the Campaspe River flowing through the heart of "Rochy", friendly people, fresh air and great weather come and visit us to discover the true country experience.
